Meet The Team

Ambrosia

Ambrosia is Dr. Sauer’s wife and practice manager. She grew up on the south side of Indianapolis and attended Perry Township Schools before graduating from Center Grove High School.

She met Dr. Sauer while attending Indiana University in Bloomington. They have 4 boys and a crazy dog named Jax who keep them busy! In her free time, Ambrosia loves to read and listen to audiobooks while sewing and crafting!

Katie

Katie graduated college with a degree in Early Childhood but discovered it wasn’t the right fit. She attended Franklin Dental assisting school and fell in love with the dental field. She is happy to have found a dental
home at Sauer Dentistry.

In her free time she loves spending time with her fiancé Jeramie and their two giant dogs, Sam and Daizy and one tiny cat Molly. She also loves hanging out with friends and family and going on adventures.

Sydney

Sydney has worked at Sauer Dentistry since 2017. She is happy to help with anything you need in the front office, from scheduling to pricing or explaining treatment plans.

When Sydney isn’t at work she loves spending time with her husband, Anthony, and their two kids, Ariana and Enzo. Sydney is a major homebody and loves a good show to binge on Netflix but also loves spending time outside with her kids and two little dogs.

Lana

Lana has been an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with Sauer Dentistry since 2016.

She and her husband Travis live in Franklin with their son, Jason. Their two dogs Owen and Harvey keep them entertained. Lana enjoys books on audible and of course a good Netflix docu-series!

Julie

Julie graduated from IU South Bend in 2004, then she returned to Ivy Tech in 2017 to complete the course to obtain her local anesthesia permit. She started with Sauer Dentistry in June, 2020 and has found her perfect dental home.

Julie grew up on the southside of Indianapolis. In her spare time outside of work, Julie loves spending time with her daughter, family, and friends. She and her daughter love spending time in the outdoors, including watching sporting events, spending time at the park, but mostly enjoying time at the lake with their family.

Julie loves being a hygienist! She enjoys providing her patients with gentle cleanings and helping them to learn more about their oral health. She feels that it is very important for her patients to be comfortable at their appointments. She strives to make them feel  important and welcome in the office.

Megan

Megan received her Dental Hygiene and anesthetic license in 2011. She has  worked at Sauer Dentistry since 2012. 

She grew up in Middletown, IN but now lives in old town Greenwood. She spends her free time camping with her family. She loves to garden and be outside!

Megan has a fluffy cat named Rosie and a Corgi named Olive.

Megan has a true passion for helping patients feel comfortable in our office.   Her favorite moments as a hygienist are when a patient realizes they have come to the right place and have received the best care. Our hygienist are highly trained providers and work with our doctors on comprehensive treatment for you.

Candi

Candi has been an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with us for two years.  She grew up in Johnson County so she loves seeing all the familiar faces and the new ones too!

Candi is married and has three very active little boys that keep her busy outside of work.  She loves spending any free time with her family and friends.

Chaya

Chaya grew up on the east side of Indianapolis and graduated from Warren Central High school. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville in 2017 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene and a minor in Nutrition.

She currently lives on the south side of Indianapolis with her boyfriend, their daughter Peyton, and an Australian/German Shepherd named Bella.

In her free time, Chaya enjoys vacations, shopping at Target, pedicures, and Beyoncé! She loves movies, binge-watching shows, and spending time with her family.

Chaya’s favorite thing about being a hygienist is educating patients about their oral health and seeing their oral health progress in the right direction.

Tessa

Tess is a front office administrator and has worked at Sauer Dentistry since 2021.

She and her fiance Austin have two kids together. In her spare time, Tessa loves hanging out with friends and family.

Alyssa

Alyssa attended Southern Illinois University to obtain her degree in Dental Hygiene.

She and her husband enjoy traveling, working out, and being foodies! They have two Bernedoodle puppies named Migo and Marz who they love to spoil.

She loves being able to create relationships with patients to not only help with their oral hygiene and but also to support them in their lives!

Christina

Christina joined our team in 2022 working as a front office administrator. She has been working in the dental field since 2014 and is dedicated to helping patients with every step of their dental visit from making patients feel comfortable scheduling their appointments, to updating their dental insurance.

Outside the office, Christina loves being on the lake with her two kids and family, working out, and traveling to new places. Like most moms, she is busy running from school events and dance practice, but enjoys finding time to be involved with her kid’s activities.

Haley

Haley has worked for Dr Sauer since he opened his practice in 2010. She started as his assistant and front office person and is now the Account Manager.

She is married and has a son and a daughter who keep her very busy between sports and dancing!

Haley loves hanging out with friends and family, reading and being on the beach whenever possible.

Kati

Kati has been an office administrator at Sauer Dentistry since 2019.

She and her husband both graduated from Warren Central High School and have 3 boys named Eli, Kobi, and Miles. Kati enjoys Starbucks, a good Netflix series, and shopping at Target.

Shannon

Shannon has been an Expanded Function Dental Assistant with us since 2021.

She graduated from Indian Creek High School and lives in Trafalgar with her husband and three kids. Shannon loves to be home and spend time with friends and family!

Silvia

Silvia has been an Expanded dental assistant with Sauer Dentistry since 2021.

She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Pickens Technical College where she graduated as a Dental Assistant.

In August of 2019, she moved to Indiana with her husband Cristian.

They have 2 beautiful children Leo and Sarahi who keep them busy.

When Silvia is not at work, she loves to spend time with family doing outdoor activities or just simply being home.

Gena

Gena grew up on the Southside and has worked as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant for nearly 20 years!

She lives in the Center Grove area with her husband Pete and son Austin. When she's not at work, you can usually find her at her son's baseball, basketball, or football games.

She also enjoys being outside and DIY projects.
